Saturday, July 15, 2006 - Pinecone Enduro

Signing up under his own name, G raced this year's Pinecone Enduro in the Buddy class--riding with his Dad through 17 miles of single track in 90 plus temps. Quite an accomplishment for our little boy. Not sure who felt more proud--G, as he marched up to receive his trophy, or Mom and Dad, as we watched.

Dad raced the Jackpine Enduro Sunday, July 16th. Approximately 60 ground miles in 95 plus temps. He placed 13th in the Senior C 30 and over class. And he is still enjoying the sense of accomplishment. This is a race he has talked about for years. Now it is one he can say he has done himself.
