An impromptu (2) day trip to the west shore

Accompanied Dad to the Leelanau Peninsula--where he made sales calls while Mom and G explored the beach.

(That is South Manitou Island on the horizon.)

For family time, we climbed The Dune at Sleeping Bear Dunes. Haven't done this since we were teenagers. Once you reach the top, it is another hour hike to Lake Michigan. We hiked this ridge until the water came into view.

Once back to The Dune, G opted to "ski" down. I missed the shot where he was pretending to hold ski poles. Such imagination.

Dad and G happy to spend quality campfire time together.
