Harrison Baby Buzzard Enduro

Another of G's summer enduros that comes with a story. In this one, he finished the first loop and inadvertantly started on the second loop. As the little ones only do one loop, this did not have a good ending. Dad had to pull him off, literally hefting his bike over a fence and handing G and his bike off to another rider until he could exit the loop elsewhere. G handled it all just fine, following Jamie to a check point and waiting there with race personnel until his Dad rolled in. Meanwhile, Mom and dog hung out in the woods wondering where they were. LOL

Still, a good day. G played with A, made a few more friends and was loathe to go when the day ended. They all enjoyed G's bicycle and, of course, the trophy ceremony where A took an overall first place finish. Congrats A!


And starting a trend that would last the rest of the season, Dad brought quite a few new riders to the event. We joked with event organizers that, were this Vacation Bible School, Paul would earn tons of extra points for bringing so many friends. Jason and Brad rode what would be their last family series enduro, before moving on the the adult series. And Dave, Brant, Curt et al rode their first enduro here. Mixed reviews, LOL, but it was a good time.
