Fly In
This was Labor Day weekend--a fly in at our airport with the planes, fire engines, pancake breakfast, bounce house and a visit with Randy (on duty patroling the event). Like the stables and mini-petting zoo, these venues and events make it easy to give G a variety of experiences in our own backyard.

Moments like also give Dad opportunity to share his own father with G. Here is where Dad explains to G that his grandfather, a man gone before G's arrival, was a pilot.

Caseville Reunion
We haven't been to Caseville since G was 9 months old. Now, at nearly 4 years old, he was able to enjoy the beach, quads, carousing with the boys, etc. much, much more.

It was 80 plus degrees Friday and Dad and G played on Uncle Curt's quad.

We also took the boat out along the shoreline. G enjoyed the ride, encouraging Curt to "go faster." Of course, when he did, G didn't care for it. Here, Dad and Curt...pontificate.

Saturday, with much cooler temps, G enjoyed watch wind surfers on the beach.

Charlie arrived with another quad (clad in camo). G called it the "hunting one."

Terry, Dad, Brad and Charlie--with Curt huddled over the deep fryer.

And no offense to the guys, but G's highlight of the weekend was watching Uncle Brad race at a local motocross track.
